The installation of Eco Stoves in various schools such as Serena schools, Jinja College, Bwindi Kihihi Primary School, Makindye S.S.S, Clesstine Primary school, Bukomero Training school, Love and care Primary school Entebbe, Premium Primary school, Caritas, Katende senior Secondary school, Gloria Education center, Bell View Primary school, Namasuba Muslim School, Katosi Primary school, Namulanda Infants, Christian Junior entebbe.

The installed Eco Stove has proven greater saving as well as environmental Protection.

Benefits of the partnership:

  • Reduced consumption of firewood: Eco stoves use 90% volcanic rocks and 10% charcoal dust as opposed to 100% charcoal usage. This has helped to reduce the consumption of firewood by up to 90% and also to conserve the forests and green vegetation in Country
  • Reduced exposure to harmful smoke emissions: Eco stoves have also reduced exposure to harmful smoke emissions by up to 90%. This has improved the air quality in the kitchens and reduced the risk of respiratory problems to the cooks.
  • Improved air quality: The cleaner air in the kitchens has also improved the health of the cooks
  • Conservation of the environment: The reduced consumption of firewood has helped to conserve the forests and green vegetation in Uganda.
