The UNAA convention also featured a keynote address by H.E Ambassador Robie Kakonge, the Ugandan ambassador to the United States. In her remarks,  H.E Ambassador Robie Kakonge emphasized the government’s commitment to driving commercial development in various sectors, including agriculture, mineral resources, tourism, and science and technology.

The Importance of Diaspora Partnerships

The ambassador highlighted the crucial role that the Ugandan diaspora plays in the country’s development. She encouraged Ugandans living abroad to invest back home and support various projects that contribute to the nation’s growth. H.E Ambassador Robie Kakonge’s message underscored the potential for strong partnerships between American entities and the Ugandan diaspora to accelerate economic and commercial development.
